Our After-School Pickup + STEM program makes afternoons easier—and way more fun with hands-on STEM! We safely pick up your child from school and bring them to Stemtree of Riverstone. After homework help, students explore a new hands-on STEM adventure each day—rotating through math, science, coding, robotics, and electrical engineering. Safe pickup, homework done, and STEM-powered fun—all in one place! This program runs throughout the school year. This registration is for the first 4 weeks of the school year only. Budding artists capturing multiple objects tend to begin with the largest or most attractive one first, finish it, and move on to the next. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.

Children and grown ups separate for 60 minutes gently easing them into the preschool experience in a familiar, safe environment. Purchase the corresponding membership, THEN reserve your child's spot in the desired class(es) to be attended. A week of creative adventure! Campers will collect and reuse everyday materials to make something new and wonderful. From sculptures to mixed-media art, they’ll discover that treasure can be found anywhere — especially when you make it yourself. All Day Camp - Week 6 Join us all day for twice the fun! Your child will attend both the morning and afternoon camps held this week: "World Cuisines!" and "Baking Sweets". World Cuisines! Camp Menu A culinary adventure around the globe! This week explores international favorites, including Mexican dishes, Belgian waffles, French sauces and desserts, chicken kabobs, naan bread, and more. Perfect for curious cooks who love trying new flavors. Baking Sweets Camp Menu A sweet-focused baking session featuring cookies, brownies, bars, cakes, pastries, and creative desserts. Lil' Chefs will practice baking techniques while decorating and customizing their treats. (Note: The menu is subject to change based on ingredient availability.) ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: Whether your child likes to bake, create, roast, sauté, fry, or blend, we have a camp for all interests. Effective and engaging storytelling and writing are key skills, not only for language arts, but to better engage with people, think creatively, persuade, and enhance ANYTHING we say! (It's also SUPER fun!) Welcome to Week 2: “Sensational Storytellers! -Fundamentals of Storytelling!" In this fully interactive class, we will have a ton of fun learning the elements of effective storytelling, playing hilarious storytelling games, and practicing multiple storytelling assignments! This combination class still offers students a sampling of art projects using various media such as clay, painting, watercolors, printmaking, collage, and pastels. Several projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Students encouraged to create their own designs by using new materials and mediums. New materials are introduced, and students are guided in how to interpret their project design.
