I am an experienced nanny with a BA in psychology with a focus on child development. I'm very caring, organized and responsible. I have worked in multiple child care centers with children ages 5 months to 12 years old. I have been babysitting for over 5 years. Along with experience with child mental health and therapeutic/coping practices. I enjoy all age groups of children and I always make sure to build good rapport with each child I interact with.

I work part-time as a case manger. Before this job, I used to work as a children's coordinator and care taker for elderly disabled people. I love working with kids and elder people. I graduated from college in 2006 majoring in English with a focus in Journalism. I worked at a daycare, located in Jamaica Plain, for three years while I was in high school. During my time there, we worked with 14 children ages ranging from 5 weeks old to 3 years old. At the daycare we played a lot with the children but also mixed that up with developmental/ educational activities such as: reading together, singing, making art projects, taking trips to the park, zoo, museum. I left the daycare when it was time for me to go to college, but I took what I learned from that experience and it has been my guide for working with children. I have fun with them but at the same time- teach and help develop. My time at the daycare has also prepared me to work with multiple children at once so I am very comfortable with that as well. Throughout my four years I nannied and babysat for various families. Once I graduated I went right to work in my career field so I did not work with children much, just occasional babysitting. The woman I worked for at the daycare had since then shut it down and opened up a school and we have not been in contact in years, but I am still in contact with several families I have worked with and use them as references. As for my schedule I am very flexible, if I can do it then I will work full time or part time. I have worked mornings, evenings and nights, even over nights. I was recently working as a pharmacy tech at a hospital in Boston, but now I am looking to work with children again. I am a Montessori trained and MA licensed teacher working in Haverhill, Ma. I teach all subjects to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I love teaching math, writing, science, and reading.
