Dive into the past by writing and recording a 20th-century-style radio drama, then switch gears to create a modern radio segment. Learn to use both vintage and contemporary recording equipment. Explore the world of modern podcasting. Learn to write, record, distribute, and market your podcast while developing a unique voice in a crowded field. Work as a team to produce a full morning radio show, complete with music and segments. Gain hands-on experience in collaborative production. About the Instructor Dana Jae is an experienced audio professional and educator with decades of hands-on work in recording, live sound, film, and post-production, and has taught in the Broadcast Electronic Media Arts department at City College of San Francisco since 2001. Her experience includes engineering live events and tours, running recording and post-production studios, and producing audio for music and visual media. She also has taught workshops focusing on both the technical and creative aspects of audio storytelling.
